Through Integrative Medicine, we aim to contribute to the prevention and cure of cancer, improve the quality of life of patients and families through the provision of evidence-based complementary therapies, and to contribute to the knowledge base on complementary therapies through research and education.

Dr. Sarah Rausch is the Director of Integrative Medicine at the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute.  She joined Moffitt from the Mayo Clinic in August, 2009.

She has worked in the Integrative Medicine field for 15 years, in international locations, including Thailand, Taiwan, India, Slovenia, and Estonia.  She has conducted and published several research trials on medical outcomes with meditation, yoga, tai chi, Pilates, herbal supplements, and other modalities for cancer patients.  She received funding from the federal government to evaluate a large trial of a tai chi intervention for women with breast cancer.

She has published and presented over 50 articles on integrative medicine, and has been an invited speaker at conferences and seminars nationally and internationally.

Dr. Rausch is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, a researcher, and a yoga, tai chi, and meditation instructor.
